About Mark’s Work

Offering a range of sizes, from small 40cm x 40cm square pieces, to large 130cm wide panoramas, Mark’s artworks can suit a number of spaces in the home. Ranging from natural earthy greens, to a rainbow of oranges, reds, purples, and blues, Mark’s collection of “treescapes” includes colour palettes to compliment all interior designs.

The photographs that form the basis of Mark’s artworks are taken in the local countryside, with Ashdown Forest and the South Downs being particular favourites. Mark takes this collection of images to source the inspiration for his artworks, and to plant the seed that will form each Limited Edition design. The artist then digitally fuses his images with paintings, drawings, textures, and found objects to create the complete artwork. Mark’s designs are available in limited editions of 25, printed onto brushed aluminium. This lightweight, industrial material gives the work a unique dynamic look, a strong depth of colour, and a trendy contemporary feel.

The title of each artwork refers to the GPS coordinates where the original photograph was captured. The exact locations can be found on the artist’s Interactive Map, which he encourages his collectors to visit in person.

About The Artist

Yorkshire-born, Sussex-based artist Mark Munroe-Preston sources inspiration from the natural world. The foundations for his artistic career began with his photography studies at Wolverhampton Polytechnic, before moving on to roles in illustration and computer design. In 2018, Mark took the plunge to become a full-time artist. Since then, he has enjoyed great success, with works sold from exhibitions and art fairs across the country, which can be found in private collections nationwide.
