This beautiful original oil painting from Shen Ming Cun features a young Yao girl, wearing traditional pink festival garments. Shen captures his Southern Chinese subjects in a realistic, detailed style. He works with simple black backgrounds that reference traditional portrait paintings in the West, whilst presenting his own unique style.
