Watts Gallery Trust and TLC have contacted high-profile artists and celebrities to create artworks to be auctioned and have had a tremendous response. Sir Peter Blake, Yinka Shonibare MBE, Joanna Lumley OBE, a variety of Royal Academicians, and Boris Johnson MP have all donated works to be included in the exhibition and subsequent auction. We would be delighted if you could attend this exciting event, and the proceeds will be split equally between the two charities.
The theme of the auction is “Love and Life”, the title of one of Watts’s most famous works, and also the theme underpinning the work of TLC. The works will be on display at Watts Contemporary Gallery from 7 October until the event on the evening of the 17 October.
There are some great auction lots to be found on the site by some rather famous people….. enjoy!
Please RSVP to Sarah Mitchell at The Watts Gallery to attend the live auction event…
